The SPIEGELAU IPA Glass

The development of the SPIEGELAU IPA glass marked a new phase in sensory-driven glass design. Created in close collaboration with international brewing experts, its shape was systematically tested and refined.

Today, the IPA glass is part of the SPIEGELAU Beer Classics collection, designed to highlight hop-forward beers with precision.

On the left side of the frame is the Spiegelau Craft Beer IPA glass filled with Heaps Normal XPA non-alcoholic beer. Above the glass is a hand pouring the beer into the glass and on the right of the glass is a Heaps Normal XPA non-alcoholic Beer can. Beer nuts are scattered around the glass and in a bowl to the right.

Why a Dedicated IPA Glass?

With the rise of hop-forward beer styles such as India Pale Ale, the demands on glass design evolved. More intense aromatics, pronounced bitterness and complex texture require a shape that supports these characteristics.

The SPIEGELAU IPA glass was designed to concentrate aromas, enhance balance and highlight the distinctive profile of the style with precision.
